Polyester Taffeta, is a lightly woven fabric with a glossy sheen. The word Taffeta derives from the Persian word Tafta which means 'Glossy Twist'. The yarn of Taffeta is highly twisted giving the fabric its crispness.

Taffeta is most commonly used in dresses, blouses, linings, lingerie, costumes, bags, curtains and upholstery.
