Ideal for vehicle upholstery, smart offices, wall coverings and interior designs. The traditional stitched leather look for a touch of understated elegance. This leatherette vinyl comes in very deep tones of black, dark navy and choco. Warm mid tones marone and cognac and paler shades of muted fango, birch and classic cream. The design covering this leatherette fabric is created using embossing. First the surface is given the texture to resemble new leather, then the diamond pattern is formed from the criss cross lines of embossed stitching. The Diamond shapes measure 3cm across by 5cm in height.
The fabric itself is made up of a layered blend compiling 25% CO fabric for the bottom layer, 73% PVC -compound for the bulk of the leatherette and 2% PU coating on the surface finish.
Designed to withstand constant and excessive use, this durable fabric is fire retardant, tear resistant, light fast and abrasion resistant, which makes it the perfect fabric for smart seating.
