Metro Quality Vinyl Leatherette
Colour Stability
The PVC coating is coloured through to the base cloth, so scuff marks will not show white, thus retaining the appearance. The Metro range is soft and supple so that it is easy to upholster but still robust and durable, making it suitable for severe contract applications. The formulation of Metro incorporates a permanent anti-microbial and anti-fungal additive that inhibits the growth of a wide spectrum of harmful bacteria and fungi. These include Staphylococcus aureus, MRSA, Clostridium difficile (C-Diff), Escherichia Coli (E-coli), Klebsiella pneumoniae and Aspergillus niger.

Cleaning & Maintenance
Clean regularly with a damp soapy cloth, then rinse with cold water and wipe dry with a clean cloth. It is important to avoid saturating the surface with water. To aid infection control Metro incorporates a special bleach clean finish. Bleach based disinfectants commonly used in healthcare, such as Chlor-Clean and Haz-Tabs, are safe to use following the manufacturers’ instructions. Stains caused by bodily fluids, lipstick, ballpoint pen ink and food colourings should be cleaned off immediately to avoid any permanent absorption.
Solvents, synthetic detergents, abrasives, aerosol sprays and wax polishes must not be used.
