Textured soft feel chenille upholstery fabric with an oriental look. The design uses swirling leafy vines, accompanied by oriental looking emblems in a circular or rectangle form. The detail of the emblem seems to depict typography, coloured in a dark toned blue.
The size of the emblems measure 10 x 6 cm , 8 x 8.5 cm and the circles 9 cm across. The two colours used on the fabric are a soft terracotta and dark blue. The background of the fabric that makes up most of the space uses the chenille yarn in a soft clay colour. The dark blue is used on the emblems. The leafy vines use both colours equally, so together create a soft plum colour.
Part of the fabric design is the finish of the pattern, using a popular clipped down method in the detail whilst keeping the soft feel of the chenille in the background. The back of the fabric is coated with a typical light grey covering which gives the fabric extra strength and stability for tougher upholstery job.
